The world's largest canyon, stretching 450 km long and 1.6 km deep in northwestern Arizona, is the largest canyon in the world.
The reddish-brown rock surface is carved with 2 billion years of strata, and together with the fossils unearthed from it, it is considered the most important place in geology for understanding the history of the earth. The Grand Canyon's majestic appearance was formed by the action of nature, including uplift of the earth, erosion by rivers, and weathering brought about by differences in temperature and rainfall.
It is thought that the present form was created about 1.2 million years ago, but erosion and weathering continue to this day.
Therefore, the Grand Canyon is never finished and is constantly changing.

*Since the age of ukiyoe, woodblock prints have been created through the division of labor between the engraver, the slitter, and the painter.
Seeking the possibility of woodblock prints as a newer form of expression, Hiroshi Yoshida believed that if he was to use craftsmen, he himself had to be more than that, and he completed his own prints, which he himself engraved and printed.
