Niagara Falls is one of the three greatest waterfalls in the world.
Its formations, which only nature can create, have the power to move the hearts of visitors.
The name comes from the name of a place that has been deified.
The Niagara River flows from Lake Erie to Lake Ontario, one of the Great Lakes of North America. Niagara Falls is located at the midpoint of this river, which is also the border between Canada and the United States.
The water flowing from Lake Erie is divided into two parts at Goat Island in the middle of the river, and flows down into “Canadian Falls” and “American Falls. The two are collectively called Niagara Falls, the most famous of which is the deeply gouged, horseshoe-shaped Canadian Falls. The tremendous volume of water falling from the huge 53-meter drop and 670-meter wide cliffs with a thunderous roar is overwhelmingly powerful. It is as if the waterfall itself is alive, making one's feet stagger and speechless.
The indigenous people who have lived in this area since ancient times feared and respected the majesty and sound of the waterfalls and revered them as “ongiara” (roaring water). The name Niagara is derived from the name of such a deified place.

*Since the age of ukiyoe, woodblock prints have been created through the division of labor between the engraver, the slitter, and the painter.
Seeking the possibility of woodblock prints as a newer form of expression, Hiroshi Yoshida believed that if he was to use craftsmen, he himself had to be more than that, and he completed his own prints, which he himself engraved and printed.
