「板画を始めましてから、まだ僅かの間ですが、其の間数回の旅行を致しました。 ただ嗜好と云ふのみでなく、何れも写生が目的でしたが、 其時の心持で面白かるべき所が案外つまらなく感じられたり、 或は佳い場所と思ひながらも構図が纏まらなかつたりして、 存外製作が出来なかつた場合もありました、 併し、其の都度有形無形に得る所が決して僅少ではなかつたのであります。」 - 川瀬巴水

1000年以上前から存在する秘湯。
歌人 大町桂月 「ここちよさ何にたとへん湯の瀧に肩をうたせて冬の月見る」
井上靖 「響泉さつさつ」 などの言葉を残しており 文豪たちに愛された温泉です。

＊金澤ながれのくるわ Kanazawa Nagareno-Kuruwa
金沢 浅野川沿いに並ぶ遊郭 「ながれの廓」くるわとも呼ばれています。
Kanazawa Nagareno-Kuruwa, also called “Nagareno-Kuruwa”, is a row of brothels along the Asano River.
