he Kiyomizu Kannondo Temple in Ueno, Tokyo, is a hall modeled after Kiyomizu Temple in Kyoto. Above the bright red hall is a clear sky. Cherry blossoms in full bloom protrude from the screen to cover them. The composition is unique to Kawase Hasui, who was involved in design work. It is a vivid spring work.
