魂の言葉⛰️「私は自然を崇拝する側に立ちたい」吉田博。

Soulful words⛰️"I want to be on the side of those who worship nature," Yoshida Hiroshi.

If you were to ask "What kind of artist is Hiroshi Yoshida?"...
"He's an amazing person, beyond words."
I would answer yes first.

Every time I see Hiroshi Yoshida's work,
" I want to be on the side of those who worship nature."
Those words seem to echo from within me.

I'm grateful for capturing a shining moment of nature...
The joy of being able to feel it myself...
The energy of Yoshida Hiroshi, who has produced a vast body of work and brought a new wind of art to the world, fills my brain and can be felt throughout my entire body.

Yoshida Hiroshi is still a passionate person.

The nature depicted by Hiroshi Yoshida is an "eternal moment "
It is a great love with nature that continues to inspire and heal people.
The person who can provide us with all of this is Yoshida Hiroshi .

Yoshida Hiroshi is one of Japan's greatest artists and has received much acclaim overseas.
It wasn't that well known in Japan.
In recent years, art exhibitions of Yoshida Hiroshi have been held and more people have become aware of his work.

The most popular of Yoshida Hiroshi's works is "Morning on Mount Tsurugi."
It seems to be different overseas, but among his many works,
Why is "Morning on Mount Tsurugi" so popular among Japanese people?

When I researched the famous mountain of Japan, Mount Tsurugi...

Since ancient times, Mount Tsurugi has been the subject of mountain worship known as Tateyama Shugen, and has attracted worshippers as the deity of Ame-no-Tajikarao (Tachio Tenjin Mount Tsurugi, Honji Fudo Myo-o), one of the deities enshrined at Oyama Shrine.

Mount Tsurugi is a 2,999m high mountain in the Tateyama mountain range in eastern Toyama Prefecture.
Known as the "Hall of Rock and Snow," this is a famous mountain in Japan that every climber dreams of climbing at least once.

Since ancient times, the mountain itself has been worshipped as Fudo Myo-o.
In the Tateyama Mandala from the Edo period, it is depicted as a mountain of needles from hell, and it is said that Kobo Daishi (Kukai) was unable to reach the summit even after wearing a thousand pairs (or three thousand) of straw sandals.
In 1907, a surveying team led by Shibazaki Yoshitaro of the Army's Land Survey Department made the first recorded ascent to the summit, during which a tin staff head and an iron sword from the Heian period were discovered on the summit, revealing that a monk had already reached the summit long ago.

Yoshida Hiroshi's book includes "The Beauty of Takayama."
The book describes his feelings for the mountains and is written in such an expressive style that it seems as if one is recreating the image of him climbing the mountain and painting.

Here are some of the phrases I selected.

"I am a painter, and therefore I see mountains as subjects for painting."

"To be touched by the beauty of the mountains and to reproduce that beauty on canvas is
It is a great joy for me.”

"I want the mountains to be a place of enjoyment rather than a place of suffering."

"After all, what is the true pleasure of mountain climbing but to be intoxicated by the charm of a kind of sublime alpine beauty that cannot be felt in the world below?"
I would like to emphasize this point especially to those who are sports-oriented and tend to invite danger by attempting mountain climbing merely to satisfy their desire for adventure or a sense of superiority.

"When one reaches the peak, they are far removed from the human world,
I was overcome with the feeling that I had approached the world of God.
There is a kind of pure atmosphere floating around, perhaps the aura that is unique to high mountains.

Dawn - From when the sky turns white until the sun rises, it seems to take a surprisingly long time.
Then, a crimson sun appears from the top of the eastern mountains.
The red color gradually changes to an orange sun.
The underworld is still asleep...

-This dawn, with Yoshida Hiroshi's thoughts and love for the mountains, is beautifully depicted in "Morning on Mount Tsurugi"-
