After finishing my business in Tokyo, I took the Shinkansen to Iwate.
We arrived in Hanamaki at night.
The lodging near the station is on the second floor of a popular restaurant.
The room was like a boarding house.
The next day we moved to another accommodation.
We then rented bicycles and headed to the Rasu Jijin Association, located on the grounds of Hanamaki Agricultural High School.

There are no tourists to be seen anywhere.

We rode quite a bit. Bicycle travel is tough.

This year the harvest was poor and work did not progress as we had hoped.
Eventually, the light and darkness will change and a new year will come.
With great hopes for the entire agricultural industry,
